"Ok." Evan stated blandly.
"No. I can't." He frowned, yeah, he wanted to but he just couldn't he wasn't himself you aren't you when you're hungry when he was tipsy. He was dangerous. Ok, that sounded over-exaggerated. It's true though.
"I would but, no." He looked down at her with an apologetic smile.

Virgil furrowed her eyebrows at his melancholy response. "Oh okay."
She bit her lip and nodded her head. "I guess so, Evan."
She let go of his hand and wandered back to her seat without him, starting up a conversation with a guy she met a couple times.

Evan watched Virgil turn and walk away, he frowned, that was his thing. Unexceptable. He looked at the ground for a moment before looking up and realising she had already decided to talk to another Lad.
"Ah, Okay." He muttered to himself, making his way back to the bartender and ordering another drink. Virgil was right. He came here for a reason and he shouldn't be a loser. As the bartender set his drink on the counter he looked over at her, sending a wink in her direction.
Evan searched the crowd, eyes landing on a brunette eyeing him in the back, he smiled, "See you, Virgin. I mean, Virgil, sorry. " He gave her a three fingered wave and disappeared into le group of people, once again.

Virgil narrowed her eyes as Josh babbled about his stupid car. She looked at Evan out of the corner of her eye, watching as he ordered another drink.
That's the spirit, she thought. At the moment, the blond girl basically tuned out Josh, really not caring about anything he had to say.
She watched as a girl in the back eyed him and a wave of unknown jealousy washed over her. She had no reason to be jealous, hell, she didn't even like him. But somehow it happened.
Virgil gritted her teeth as Evan called her Virgin. She stood up without saying anything to Josh and grabbed Evan's arm.
"You little shit, did you just call me Virgin?" she asked, resisting the urge to just punch him in the face.

Evan let out a gasp when he felt a familiar grip on his arm. He smirked and spun around to meet her face to face, well, he had to look down a bit but, still.
"Did I? I'm sure I called you Virgil, your name." He replied, raising an eyebrow, "But, You wouldn't be getting so defensive if you weren't one." He added with a shrug.
"Feisty." He growled, he liked it.
"Now why don't you get me a refill, Sweetheart." Evan held the glass cup out toward her expectantly.
It was fun messing with her, she took everything so....seriously. But, at the same time she seemed pretty chill.

"No, shut up, Evan," she growled. She was completely serious. But nevertheless, Evan wasn't lying. It was, unfortunately, true. "I have a name. Use it, you ignorant fuck."
She closed her eyes as he called her feisty. He'd been so shy before and now...well now he was just like her.
"Do I look like your slave, Evan?" Virgil asked, crossing her arms over her chest. "No."
He was so irritating. She couldn't believe anyone would ever wanna date him.
