Virgil took a seat at the bar, waving over the bartender. He looked to be about 20 and very attractive. Not her type though. Too...douchebaggish.
"Mind getting me a drink? Just whatever," she told him, surveying the bar. There were a bunch of students there chatting mindlessly.
The blond girl watched them for a while until he set down her drink. She sipped it cautiously before deciding it was okay.
She'd never been here before, but the atmosphere was nice so she was okay. She silently sipped her drink and sat in the silence, playing temple run on her phone.

Evan strode into the bar, he looked around before heading in a straight bee-line towards the bartender. He was upset that his foster parents sent him to "Lightonvale", they could've at least talked to him about it first. Fuckers. Evan plopped down beside an attractive blonde girl who was playing....temple run on her phone. He watched her for a moment before bringing his attention to the bartender,
"Uh, can I just have a....," He searched the wooden menu hanging above his head, "A grey goose, Vodka." He finished, giving the bartender an appreciative smiled.
"Hey," Evan said to the small girl girl beside him, might as well make small chit-chat, he might be here for a while.

Virgil heard a voice next to her and she paused her game. "Hi, there," she spoke, putting her phone in her bag.
He was really attractive, but Virgil wasn't here to make friends. She came here to be Lightonvale's next top model.
Just kidding.
Virgil sipped her drink before introducing herself. "I'm Virgil C-, uh just Virgil," she smiled.
She looked down at her glass before realizing it was empty. She knew it was a chocolate martini, the familiar taste gave it away.
"Hey, bartender, can I get another one, please?" she asked sweetly.

The bartender placed Evan's drink on the counter and nudged it towards him, He nodded thankfully toward the bartender before gladly grabbing the glass and bringing it to his lips as the pretty blonde introduced herself.
"Ah, Nice to meet you, Virgil. I'm Evan S- uhm, just Evan." He imitated, in the most non-offensive way he could.
He set his glass down on the corner once more, and studied his new acquaintance's face, she was really pretty. Not like the girls back home. Ew.
"How are you this fine evening?" Evan asked, breaking the silence.

Virgil rolled her eyes at him. "Mocking me isn't a great way to get me to be your friend, just so you know," she told him.
She grabbed her drink from the bartender and muttered a thank you. She looked at him, his blue eyes sparkling. Although he wouldn't get far.
"I'm alright I guess. I mean, I'm alone at the bar playing temple run, it's incredible," she said sarcastically.

Evan raised his hands in a defensive manner, "Sorry, Sorry. Wait, Who said I wanted to be your friend, love?"
"Kidding." He quickly added, not wanting to earn an enemy on his first day. He grabbed his glass and downed the remainder of his drink.
He shouldn't be drinking. But, he can't help it. It's addicting.
"Oh, That's awesome. Party hard, right? You're definitely living the life." Evan joked, his Irish accent becoming more audible.

Virgil looked him up and down, still uninterested. "I have enough friends. The question is, do you want to be one of them?" she asked. "Of course you're kidding."
"Ha, living the life. Most definitely," she agreed, letting out a laugh. She looked at Evan's empty glass. "I see you're a drinker, aren't you?"
She smiled at him. He was gorgeous, she had to give him that. But seemingly a douche bag. So uhm. No.

Evan brought his finger up to his chin, implying that he was in deep thought, "Eh," He began, deciding he wouldn't finish his sentence.
"Uh," He followed her gaze towards his empty glass, "Oh. Er- no..?" He responded. Even though he was. It was his secret, his past. This was his fresh start and he didn't want to return to his old ways.
Virgil began staring at something behind him- or that's what he thought- Evan spun around on the stool and searched the small crowd before realizing she had been looking at him.
oh. "Enjoying the view?" He asked, with a smirk on his face. He wasn't trying to flirt, it was just a smooth recovery, He hoped she didn't think he was trying to 'get in her trousers'.
'Cause he wasn't.

Virgil raised her eyebrows, unamused. "Ok, cool," she spoke before turning back to her drink.
She studied his glass as he said he wasn't a drinker. "But uh, you just had a drink. It only takes one to become a drinker," she pointed out.
The blond girl narrowed her eyes at Evan. "If you think I'm attracted to you, you're sadly mistaken."
She turned away from him, nearly wanting to punch him in the face. She's sure she'd get arrested if she did though.
This little shit was annoying but she figured she'd have to deal with him at some point.

"Oh, uh, Yeah. You're right I guess." Evan whispered. He glanced down at his empty glass, he had been contemplating whether or not he should ask the bartender for another drink but he decided against it. "Um, I didn't mean it like that, I-" He cut himself off, giving himself a mental face palm, He didn't feel like explaining himself anymore. "Just, uh, Sorry. Yeah." Evan pulled out his wallet, tossing a ten dollar bill toward the Bartender and another fifteen to Virgil, "Have fun." He shot her a sincere smile before standing up, turning on his heel and inching toward the small crowd of students. He pushed past a few people, trying to make his way to the back, once he got there he leaned against the wall with his hands tucked away in his pockets, studying each individual person as they passed. Like that's normal. c: You're welcome.

Virgil pursed her lips, not knowing what to say to him. But he cut himself off so she decided not to say anything. She stared down at her glass in thought, figuring out if she even should say anything.
Her eyes flickered to the side as Evan handed her money. She watched him squeeze his way through the crowd and stand against the back wall. Shaking her head, the blond girl got up and followed him, money in hand.
As soon as she caught up to him, Virgil shoved the money into his pocket. "I may not be as rich as you maybe, but I'm not a charity either."

Evan chuckled, "Rich? Far from it." he pulled the money from his pocket and slipped it down her shirt, without touching her in any way, wouldn't want to get her upset. again. "Keep it. I was going to use it for drinks but, Hey, I've got a problem with alcohol and I shouldn't have came here in the first place." He murmured, "I'll be heading out anyways." He patted her head before stepping around her and back into the crowd. he's scared of her. in a way.

Virgil glared at him as he stuffed the money down her shirt.
"Fucking excuse you. Go get it," she instructed. It wasn't that she liked him or it, but she just wanted to see if he'd actually do it.
As he patted her head, she swatted away his hand. "I'm not a dog, Evan."
She shook her head as he walked away and then grabbed his arm. "No. Don't be a loser and leave."

"I, uh" Evan raised an eyebrow, "I'd rather not, Love. I'm not like that." He smirked, then raising his hands in defense in response to her comment afterwards.
"Never said you were. If anything, You'd be a cat." He made a purring noise.
As he began walking away she tugged his arm, pulling him back. Evan laughed and furrowed his eyebrows, She. Was. Confusing.
"Uh, so, do you want my company or not? At this point I can't really tell."

Virgil laughed at Evan. "I know, I'm not a whore either."
She studied him for a bit before looking away. She hated him but wanted to get to know him. At this point, she wasn't sure of what she wanted with him.
"If you're gonna come out and drink, might as well go all the way, babe," she told him, taking his hand.
